ok i cant get more than 3 stars on the seeker on expert meanwhile the only other songs i only have 3 stars on is raining blood and before i forget. i have at least 4 stars on every other song, so i think the seeker is waaaaayy too hard for only 3rd tier. i dont know whats wrong but i just cant even 4 star it i actually do worse each time i play it. |

I had an easier time FCing The Seeker than even Sunshine of Your Love, so no, I don't think it is too hard. You are probably strumming the triplets too quickly. _________________

It's hard because of the weird strum pattern, and the arm-tiring. Also, it's no hard to pass, so that's why it's in tier 3 _________________

That, plus the change can be tricky as well.
It's in that tier because it's easy to pass, not necessarily easy to 5*. _________________

Indeed. It's easy enough to pass, it's just a bitch to hold a combo on (and hence 5*) thanks to the strum pattern and, for me at least, the awkward chord changes and single note to chord things that my brain can't parse for reasons unknown. _________________

Hmmm... I five-starred that on my first try and didn't even notice anything like that. It didn't seem very hard at all. _________________

Maybe you can't keep a combo because you're strumming to fast in the fast sections. I really have to hold myself back when alt strumming there. Try that. _________________

At first, I was kinda like "What the fuck, how am I doing this bad?". Then, I some how am pretty good at it, just cant FC the part you strum a line of blue notes, I think, pretty quickly cant find a good strum speed. Otherwise, the song is pretty easy. _________________

I can 100% it except for the single note repetitions, which have no tempo at all and I can't get.

The REALLY screws me up, and I have absolutely no idea why. I can do chord changes more visually tricky without breaking a sweat, but this one kills my combo every time.
I've 5-starred everything but Raining Blood, but I still can't match the Seeker high score I nailed the first day I had the game. I usually undercut it by 30k. No idea how I did it the first time. |

I agree, this song should prolly be in the 6th set. I couldnt 5-star it until i changed my fingering and downstrummed only.
I finger it by using 1/3 finger for the s, then switching to 2/4th finger for the s and the s. Got me a score of 220k. As for the alt strumming parts, after awhile i just figured out how fast to strum...kinda...i still mess up sometimes. I cant imagine FCing this ever, but who knows...maybe someday.. _________________
