None whatsoever.
I just connect the yellow into the projector and connect red and white to my speaker system. Works perfectly.
I love it. |

65" Mitsubishi DLP HDTV
Xbox 360 Halo 3 Edition via HDMI full 1080p
Sony 5.1 system, soon to be replaced with a Yamaha 5.1 system.
I bought my first 360 because of GHII. I REALLY wanted to play The Trooper... I bought the TV because of the 360... And now I buying the Yamaha sound system because of the GH/RB games...
The PS2 simply paled in comparison, and was sold off with all accessories about a month ago, it just wasn't played anymore.
I've got the lag set to 45ms in GHIII and have no problems. _________________

I got a 37" LG LCD currently with X360 running in 1080i component.
Sound goes through X360 optical to an old 5.1 Yamaha amp with Cerwin-Vega (OOF!!! Hi-Fi!) main (E312) and surround speakers (CLSC-6, CLSC-6C).
And people with 1000W setups... please rather list the components, if it's the real deal. I've seen computer speakers rated to thousands of watts that were the size of two cigarette packs
Wattage seems to be the most misleading attribute to any kind of AV-setup. |

I just recently got a 19'' Samsung, albeit it's smaller size, it kicks righteous ass, and it uses digital sound so it sounds great too. Smaller, less expensive, but amazing indeed. Runs 1080i, so I'm set. |

It's a tad bothersome. What the lag calibrator does is that it switches the timing window so that it's fixed FOR the lag, so the notes still look like they're being hit later. But it's not that big of a problem. |

42 inch Maxent Wide-screen HDTV at 1080i with HDMI input from my Xbox 360. For sound... I use the onboard speakers... PLUS I hooked up my big ass JVC Stereo to the thing... Crank up the bass and this thing can cause earthquakes _________________

Holy shit a 2000 watt sub? And 2 extra 500 watt subs?! How can you play with the ground quaking? On topic , I Use a decent 1000 watt 7.1 Onkyo setup and a 62 inch HDTV (JVC HDLA or something ) only 720p/1080i. Or I Use my old school 720p Screenplay 5000 projector and play on a 100+ inch screen. |

i have slim ps2 w/ gh1, 2, and 3...
at home, a 20-inch tv and i have an old set of computer speakers that work quite well, its much better than in my dorm because all we have is a tiny 14-inch tv that makes the game pretty much impossible. I also have PC speakers w/ a sub that i can hook up. |
