worst song in guitar hero series

have you even played guitar hero 2

if not go rent it, borrow it, or buy it and play all the bonus songs and then say SOSAD is the worst to play or listen to because i guarantee you will not be saying this is the worst after played through 2 songs of the songs

no songs in any GH or rockband are as bad as 2 of the bonus songs in GH2

I've played it. I can tell you that whilst Red Lottery and Yes We Can can burn your ears so much, at least I find that they're more fun to play than SOSAD. Well Red Lottery is on the same level as SOSAD, but at least I can actually improve my scores on that song. For SOSAD it's barely possible.

i 5* this song with flying colors. it was a little tricky at first but after 2 or 3 tries i got it.

its all about the rythym for this one.

I HATE listening or hearing this song. I'm glad I just 5*ed it and moved on.

The only real thing I can say is really just buckle down and play it for 30 minutes and hoepfully ace that 5 star.

It is a short song. Just take the entire song into practice in pieces for a few minutes each and within 30 minutes, you should see 5*s next to that song on the setlist. Personally, I got it first try and I still have 4 more 5*s.

Can you easily combo Cliffs of Dover strumming only when necessary? If not, then try working on Cliffs of Dover. Getting good at that song will greatly improve your ability to read random strums between HO/PO sections. Also, try Pride and Joy or La Grange. This is a case where you want to get better at something harder to help you with something easier.

The first or second time I played this song I hit 126K on expert. Ok no problem, 1k away, I'll come back to it and pick up an easy win. Well not sure what happened, but now I struggle to hit 110k. I mostly break combo on the stupid little slide:

There seem to be two varieties, a fast slide, and a stupid fast slide. (does this cause any grief to anyone else?) Maybe I'm not feeling the whole "swing rythmn" of this song anymore since I now hate it. It's about as enjoyable as watching Swing Kids.

EDIT: AAAAAAAH. I just 4.5'd it, easily my best run ever. So I'll tell you one thing that helps. On the bridge parts (the RB:), try looking at your hands. It's really repetitive, so assuming you've played it enough times to know how it goes, this actually makes me play so much better on that part--I FC'd it both times.

Hope that helps.

This is your best bet. I too had problems with this song, as it was annoying to figure out. I could more or less hold a combo through the verses and solos (it was hit or miss usually). But once I figured out the bridge, I comboed through that and got 5 stars. I will hammer the with my middle finger, slide up to the wth my middle & pinky, reverse them for the with the index and ring, then slide back to the green.

Good luck.

That's one way; personally I just slid the index the whole time and threw down the ring finger for the chords. That was one of the main reasons why I looked at my hands for it. It worked, so whatever.

This song is song simple. I suggest playing Cliffs of Dover as practice for strum/HOPO combos.

Ok, I managed to get 162k on it, and pretty much FC'd everything except the fast trills. I'mma upload the score in a minute, see how it compares.
