GH2 Disk Not Working :S

Well, i've been playing a long while, and i was bored of the songs on GH3, and relised how much better the songs were on GH2 like six,hanger 18, BATH, and many many more, so i plugged in my ps2, And put my disk in (Which is a little Scratched) The ps2 screen loaded normally and went onto the game but i noticed nothing was loading, i've been trying a few days now and have had no luck =/ and im woundering if anybody on the forum can help me get my disk working.
