I'm getting nervous. Real bad.

I don't know. I'm just getting really really nervous.

I have a school tournament (one person from each year) to come up and compete for the elite title of grand champion of guitar hero. Winner gets spirit points, and I don't know the rest. Hopefully a gift card or something. But, they said a guy and a girl to play, then they scratched that 'cause it has to be fit in a 25-minute period of time to determine the winner. So now it's just 4 people.

But before we were paired with a girl, but then it was just taken as too much time so they quit that idea. The girl I was paired with let me play, so i'm planning to give her the prize.

I'm just getting really nervous. I've been practicing a lot, and since we only have 25 minutes, we gotta divide 6 minutes for each song.. But seriously..
For the first round i'll go Raining Blood, on average I can maybe get 240K, and then i'll play TTFAF after that, so hopefully I can win. People tell me I can win 'cause nobody else lives in here that really truly tries to play guitar hero, but i'm still unsure.

If there's any advice on like what songs are usually played by mainstream expert players, please let me know. And by mainstream expert players, I mean people who always like to tell their friend "oMG! I pazz mai naym iz jonas!!11!" No joke.

But i've already got that one on the list. Also, some tips to ease this nervousness. Thanks!

Anything you can FC.

If you want to do My Name is Jonas or Closer, do it up. It'll be awesome to see the crowd go OMFG HE HIT EVERY NOTE.

Also, anything that is difficult to follow for normal people; i.e., Cliffs of Dover, La Grange, any Guitar Battle DLC, We Three Kings, etc.

It's not a matter of how difficult a song IS, but of how difficult a song LOOKS.

You should do fine.

DON'T play Cliffs of Dover. Everyone can get the around your score no matter what. I made that mistake too many times

For the nervousness, just drink some scotch, always helps, and it makes you better at GH... Problem solved.
Seriously though, try to do something else that´s fun. Watch some TV, do some workout, get your mind off of GH.

Regular people always likes the popular songs like Welcome to the Jungle, Paint it Black or One just because they can sing along with them. A good song to play is in my mind The Metal, if you can do everything outside of the acoustic solo it looks neat, hammer-on and pull-offs all the song through which always impresses.

They freaking postponed it until Tuesday because their TV wouldn't work today.

I am officially pissed off 'cause of that. AND I have to play on an explorer.

Going from SG--> Explorer = fail for me. The buttons are so clackety-clack and stiff. Can't slide around the SG much.
