Is it possible to add in extra tracks into vgs files, and reference them in songs.dtb? |

If you changed the vgs format so that there were more tracks, the game would more than likely have trouble streaming it, so it wouldn't play. If you wanted this to work, you'd need to change the way that GH reads vgs files.... and an edit to songs.dtb won't change that, as it's part of the engine. Sorry! _________________

If you are talking about the ability when adding tracks into GHex (such as multiple MP3's into one song) It's not going to add on to the first mp3 you put in there. What GHex and the guitar hero engine does, is takes these tracks (such as the full band... or seperate parts i.e: Drums, guitar, bass, vocals) and creates them with your settings to make the VGS file. The vgs file is what plays whenever you.... well play guitar hero!
tl;dr version: If you put multiple MP3's into GHex, they won't be seperate, instead they compile together to make one track. Which gives options to make the guitar sound stand out more during the song.
So your question is answered with a simple; no.
I hope that made sense. (You should read Nickb's guide to playing custom songs, part 1 of it especially. _________________

Seriously I'm tired of seeing those types of signatures. Nobody cares. |

not talking about multiple songs into one vgs, that just doesn't make sense, I'm talking about making all bass songs stereo bass, or fixing the mistakes that have been made, see my other thread http://www.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=50699 to understand what I've been looking at. |
