|
|
The Guitar Hero Community has joined forces with the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation to present the Starlight Charity Challenge! Consisting of two online tournaments, the entire community will work together to raise money for an outstanding cause. Not only will you be helping the children of the Starlight World, but you also have a chance to win a trip to Neversoft! Throw in the chance to win some sweet Guitar Hero Merchandise, and an opportunity to play alongside the Starlight World Community, and you have one awesome challenge!
The Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities.
Once you have joined the Starlight Guitar Hero Community Tournament, you are all set and ready to contribute! Go to your tournament's offcial thread (Listed Below) and follow the High-Score Tournament directions (listed within), and do your best to achieve your highest possible score. Play, contribute, and win, its that simple. Have fun and good luck!
Note: All Guitar Hero Community members must follow the two steps listed above to enter the challenge. Members of the Starlight World will automatically be entered into their own separate Challenge Tournament (Details Below).
Below are the two official threads for each of the Charity Challenge Tournaments. Use these threads to find tournament directions, current tournament standings, and the latest tournament discussion. If you have any questions about your charity challenge tournament, the answers will most likely be found in the official tournament thread.
Reminder: The Guitar Hero Community Tournament is for all guitarhero.com community members. The Starlight World Tournament is for Starbright children and their friends/family.
Note: The points for dollars donation will be exclusive to the Expert Community Tournament.
Playing in an Online High Score Tournament is simple and fun!]
*Each Charity Challenge tournament will have a setlist of 1 song (which is listed on both the official tournament thread, and official tournament page.)
*Play this song using the High Score Tournament Instructions below, and your scores will automatically be updated to the tournament standings (if you have properly followed the two steps to join the Charity Challenge listed above).
Note: To view the current tournament standings while the tournament is in progress, use the official tournament thread for whichever round you're in (links above), and click the official tournament page link located within.
1.) Official Tournament Rules -- You agree to these by signing up for the tournament, so make sure you read them.
2.) Official Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation Website - Find out more about this wonderful foundation.

Sounds awesome Too bad I'm in Canada.
Need Chris to do TTFAF and get these folks $90+ (If I read that right, that's how it'd work?) (I'm at work and shouldn't even be here, so I could only skim, hehe.) |

If we sign up for hard, do we still get a chance at going to Neversoft? The prize thing only says expert and medium players. |
