No, as has been stated before, the front end timing window has been...activated. Now, it's more GH2-like. If you can play GH2/80s, you'll have no problem with GH:A.

It's slightly tighter, but no big deal. I believe the front end window described above is the biggest difference. Basically you just can't rush through it like you could in gh3. It's no big deal, you just have to pay attention to your speed a bit more.

Well at least it doesn't eat your skills as much as GH3 does.

I think he means, you won't be able to hit hopos so early like you can in GH3. Like if you hit a sustain and drop it then you can hold down the next note WAY in advance and still hit it. Can't do this in GH:A.

Good. Now it feels more realistic!

Wrong, it's not an expansion. Timing window is tighter.

Just to note, aerosmith IS basically just an extension of GH3. The timing window is tighter.

I would say the timing window is like GH2/80's, because I'm fine squeezing in GH3, but those other games just seem a little smaller and I just select on the note rather than little before/after. Using practice mode in GHA (considering they do have one) should allow you to test out the window.

It's noticeable but not annoyingly so. It's squarely in between GH2 and GH3 from what I can tell and it made what would have been an absolute cakewalk game somewhat challenging... ok maybe not but it would have been a joke on GH3 timing.

GH:A still has the infinite front timing window that allows you press other frets along with the correct note without losing your HOPOs. The only difference is the small timing window to pull this off with.

ok, sounds good. I shouldn't have any problems with GH:A then.

It doesn't matter. There are no three-minute tapping solos in GHA.

I have the game, they're not bad.
After the first two songs you're like, "good they're not too hard".
