This is probably not anything new, but it's the first time I've seen it. When they are playing She Sells Sanctuary (which is already one of my favourite songs in the game ), they play on different difficulties (expert on the left and hard on the right). I think you could see that in the second trailer, but this time I could see how the scoring worked. To make up for the fact that expert has more notes and chords, the hard player gets 190 points for hitting a single not under 4x multiplyer, while the expert player gets 169 points for the same thing.
Hopefully the scoring difference is calculated using base scores. That way two players would get nearly the same score if they both FC, no matter which difficulties or song they play. That looks like a really cool mode. Now I can play someone who isn't on my skill level and still get a good match (no, battle mode didn't quite do it for me).
Really looking forward to the game. Is it true that it will be released in Europe 2 days earlier, or is it just Wikipedia?

I was wondering that as well.
This is my first time posting on the regular ScoreHero boards; after Rock Band I had no desire to get anything Guitar Hero until I heard about Guitar Hero: Metallica. That trailer is making me think about getting this, too (omg She Sells Sanctuary!~) |
