After listening through The Downward Spiral (NIN) I kindof got freaked out by the end of Hurt, which I to this day find odd because it's just like noise that sounds remotely like a factory or something else loud and mechanical.

Well when it comes to lyrics. For me it will always be the entirety of In Absentia by Porcupine Tree. For Example here's an excerpt from the song Blackest Eyes.

"A walk in the woods and I will try
Something under the trees that made you cry
It's so erotic when your make up runs"

Creeps me out so much every time I hear it.

And as for actual musical surprises. It's definitely When by Opeth that takes the cake. And here's a video that basically mimics my initial response to hearing the song (sadly the first 25 seconds or so are not there, so it doesn't lull you into the false sense of acoustic security then blast you with enormous black metal riffage)

Joe satriani's "the forgotten pts 1 & 2" kinda scared me when I first heard them but other than that nothing off the top of my head has creeped me out.

The tom run in "mordecai" before the solo though is incredible...best build-up ever!

Since blackwidowcd has been mentioning Buckethead songs, it reminded me that he has a lot of creepy songs. Well, you either find them creepy or hilarious, depending on if you're crazy.

Some examples: Pretty much every song that I've heard off of Bucketheadland 2 (Can You Help Me? ), pretty much every song off of The Cuckoo Clocks of Hell, Welcome to Bucketheadland (The "Centipede Woman" crap at the end), Post Office Buddy (The music itself isn't creepy, and it's actually kind of funny until the end, then ), Warweb

That... was... INHUMANE.

Seriously, they should make a Bucketheadland Movie. Would be the scariest shit ever, guaranteed.

Just listened to Slaughter Zone Exit since everyone is talking about it...

About the other songs blackwidowcd linked, Unemployment Blues' lyrics would actually make a good death metal song (XD), and I actually found Rooster Landing hilarious.

"Won't you look down in that hole...
farther down...
keep looking...
*PFF*...
There's anoother booodyyy in my garden..."

"Lime time lime time LIME TIME
It doesn't so smell bad anymore"

LOL

At the end of Someone is Waiting by Neutral Milk Hotel, there's a bubbling sound that plays until the end of the song. I don't know why, but it just creeps the shit out of me.

Buckethead has more "Gutter Songs" for all you guys that love them.

Fun For You: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_E5-n_F40EA
Taxidermy Tots: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQrqJvk-0LU
The Ballad of the Inside Out Face: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8Ka990D0lY&feature=related

I think it's funny that when I see a "Creepy song" thread, I can post Buckethead songs and when I see a "Beautiful song" thread, I can post Buckethead songs.

Not really scary, but if you're looking for an album that'll actually go as far as to make you feel uneasy or nervous:

I used to get creeped out or "disturbed" a bit by the ending part of Down with the Sickness...it was "disturbing" to say the least...no pun intended, lol.

Other than that, not really any other song that I can think of.
