(I know, I'm a bit pessimistic there!) |
People who like playing music tend to enjoy GH it seems. Take my girlfriend for example - absolutely hates video games but she can fivestar BaTH. |

anyway me and my Girlfriend 5*d hard on Coop. she 5*d Hard GH3 & GH2. And she is working on expert. not too shabby if I say so myself.
Its funny though because she can beat everyone in my family whenever we have random Rock Band get togethers.

A lot of my ex-girlfriends have enjoyed playing co-op with me, it's a great way to break the silence whenever you need something to do, plus, co-op is so addicting! _________________

My gf would play but didn't like guitar at first, and then it grew on her, but she likes RB drums more.
It's real fun when I play RB and the other three band members are girls (gf, her sister, and their friend) except it usually means I have to play drums so that everyone can be on medium or above. They are able to play some songs on hard mode for guitar so eventually we could all be on hard I hope, but I haven't had time for the co-op lately too busy in real life. Sometimes I try and do vocals + guitar if there's only three of us so we can still have a full band |

my wife beat GH2 on expert she hasn't really tried GH3. she's not into going for high scores of 5 stars or anything but she does play coop with me every once in a while which is fun. she LOVES RB vox and karaoke revolution though. (she's a voice teacher) _________________

We are not as blessed to have girlfriends who play guitar hero, let alone girlfriends, let alone girl friends.
I'm going to go cry in the corner.

Yep, I play Guitar Hero and Rock Band with my wife, too. We're both Expert fake-guitar players - I'm somewhat better, by dint of starting three weeks earlier and getting in waaaaay more practice time because I sleep a lot less at night. (She's better than me on Rock Band drums, though.)
Still sort of lazily drifting our way through the GH3 co-op Expert career, but eh, not in any sort of rush. (Did the whole "let's 5-star it all on Hard" first, for Achievement-oriented purposes.) Done the Rock Band Endless Setlist for platinum-iconed glory - twice, actually, with me/her on Guitar/Bass one time through and Vox/Guitar the second time around. Still slowly grinding our way towards getting all the "Big In X" Achievements, getting our number of fans up there (I think it's just shy of 50M at the moment), and so on. Good times. _________________

It seems like theres a lot of couples that play GH and RB...my gf plays GH with me but she gets intimidated because I play on expert and shes on medium but she has beaten me on face off on Cliffs of Dover. and she rubs that in my face every time. And on rock band I do guitar and she does the bass and vox, at the same time. _________________

Perhaps if I /had/ a boyfriend, I would, but I don't.
So, I guess I just have to settle with my best friend. |

My wife will pick up the ol' guitar from time to time. Its a good time...but...she can "play" Medium, and doesn't know how to/care to use SP. So getting a "decent" score is a little tough.
But, in the end...its a good way to do something together on the rainy days.
