Jet Force Gemini for the 64. Made by Rare. Awesome, incredibly hard game. I ended up having to use a GameShark to beat the last boss. |
I have that game and it's epic. I remember the final boss... you truly need a shitload of homing missiles and tri-rockets. Hope you got most of the expansions for those guns before the end of the game!!
I must say I never beat the game without resorting to a guide. I don't know how you would find all the ship's upgraded parts in some cases. Like the O2 tank underwater on that little moon world below the main island. I don't think it would occur to me to go check there. |

Dead Ball Zone on the PS1 was an awesome game. It was like a futuristic indoor rugby match except you could use chainsaws, guns, and bombs. And people could die, and if they died they never came back. _________________

Jet Motto and Gex the Gecko.
Idk if they were popular but damn they were fun. Gex is like Crash Bandicoot and Jet Motto was a jet ski racing game.
Also Gex was fucking HARD. _________________

I absolutely LOVE the Tales series. It's huge in Japan and gaining ground in the US, but still isn't all that popular. They're RPGs, but the battle system plays more like a fighting game. So fun. |

Unknown game? Well, here is one :
Chippoke Ralph no Daibouken (the adventure of little Ralph) on PS1.
Link to a review, with some screenshots.
Only a few copies, and the game has not been released outside of Japan.
It's a shame, because it's really one of the best 2D plateformer I have ever played. Beautiful graphics, good gameplay, and a great scoring system. |
