Hello.
I am new to this forum, so I decided to start my messaging history in this thread

Yesterday completed TTFAF first time, barely made it (nearly lost at the beginning of Here We Stand), played the game for like, 2 years to do this

BTW, 15 minutes before completed Raining Blood (also for the first time), really happy now

Wasted quite a lot of Star Power saving up for You Rock so I didn't fail, I reckon I could get at least 400k next time I pass.

After 6 years from Guitar Hero 3 release, I finally managed to pass Through The Fire And Flames. Failed many times at "What The...?" and other sections, even in "Synth Death".

My life is complete now lol. I will never play this freaking song again!

Back when I used to play I was able to beat it about 60% of the time that I passed the intro. I'm not some crazy player, but I used to be pretty good.
My strategy for the intro (since I'm not some beast that can use both hands to tap it in fear of missing a not and having to jump back down to strum) is to just skip the reds unless I'm feeling confident in hitting them. Sure, it's not a full-combo, but it worked for me. :)

Is it just me, or is the non-boss battle of Devil Went Down To Georgia WAY more difficult? I only managed to beat that one a couple of times, and each time was a major victory.
(Maybe it just doesn't count because it was part of the downloadable section?)

Anyway- I'm getting back into the game- so I'll be back to this thread when I manage to overcome TTFAF on the PC version.

Still practicing that last part and also, after that I tried few more times and kept failing at 80-something%

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.
After loads of failing at the 80%-something mark, i took alittle break from TTFAF and continued on with my journey on easy/medium guitar/bass fgfcs. I just finished smash hits medium bass fgfc, after many chokes in the last few seconds of free bird, and then, I went to expert for a little. I started off with easy songs like Stellar, then decided to give TTFAF a go. I failed alot in the start, because i forgot the technique i used (right index finger on green, hit rest of notes with left hand.

Now I can safely say this: I beat the smash hits version of TTFAF!
This may be one of the lowest scores of all time lol.
Anyways, I'm actually pretty happy about this, I even scared my dog oops.

Congrats to sleeperwave for getting the FC of TtFaF on SH. This puts him a -1 note away from a FSFC (I'm the One). I posted this as amazingly he has no achievement thread of his own.
