So, this man in Russia got like spores or something into his lungs and it started to grow. He started coughing blood and complained about a huge amount of pain in his chest.

I clicked that, prepared to be grossed out, then I saw the stupid little cartoon of it, and let my guard down. Then I scrolled down... *shudders*
That is, without a doubt, the craziest thing I've heard of having been removed from the human body.

Yeah, you hear a lot of things when you're in the medical school

Seriously, I never knew it was even possible for a tree to grow in the human body.
YOWCH! Complete with needles. I wonder how he'll do later in life (i.e., will he be more careful around pinecones, will he still have chest pain etc.).

You do realize that the acid in your stomach (HCl) is a really really strong acid (pH=1-2)

Seriously, my favorite thing about Scorehero is by far logging on, going straight to the General chat section, and reading stories like these.
On Topic: WTF? I asked my Biology teacher one year if something like this was possible, and they said no. Wait, I just remembered I asked if you could EAT a seed and grow it in your stomach, stomachs are a LOT different than lungs.
Question answered.
