<the_Speed_Bump> I have a severe, irrational phobia against midgets with red hair who wear black trenchcoats and sell kitchen cleaners in back alleys behind hotels whose names start with the letter 'U'.
<the_Speed_Bump> Every day is a struggle. |

I have a fear of being burnt, heights, ocean depth ( I will never swim outside of the continental shelf. Ever.), Large things flying near me (Planes less than 100 feet off the ground, large falcons or eagles.), shuddering noises (Like a garage door being closed), public speaking, and dim lights ( lights off are fine, but dim just freaks me out.) |

ladders and revolving doors
I also have this fear of "forever" example: if someone says"this will be your only chance ever to do this" I do it. Going along with that, I have a fear of doing or have done to me something that last forever (scars, knocking out a permanent tooth, etc...) _________________

Ladders. Fucking ladders. I still haven't climbed to even the fourth step of any ladder. I don't trust them. Ladders are unsafe and they fall and I always feel like they're going to collapse from under me. I don't care how "secure" you make the ladder, IT WILL FUCKING COLLAPSE. _________________

I'm the same. I can't cross a suspended bridge at all, I can barely look out windows past the fourth floor or so, and I have a terrible time with some staircases. I can handle the stairs and bridges if someone holds my hand, though, which can get really embarrassing when I'm hanging out with the guys. |

Dolls freak me the heck out. Whether it be a killer doll (Chucky @_@) or like a really weird glass doll. My friend is really rich and has a guest room. In the guest room are literally >100 dolls lined up on the bed and different shelves. I went in there with another friend at 3am. It was horribly creepy. |

i'm scared of being alone
i don't mean like nobody is around me though. I mean i'm scared of not being able to talk to people and having people not be there for me.
i pretty much don't get scared of anything else. at least not to the point where i would call it a phobia. |

As unbelievable as this seems, I'm afraid of ninjas.
Literally. Ever since my teacher said ninjas attacked at night and killed people in Japan when I was in third grade, I've been afraid of ninjas. I couldn't sleep with the light off until freshman year.
Seriously. |

Cats. Fuck cats. Seriously. Also, wind, public speaking, and any type of storm. _________________

Why aren't religious people considered conspiracy theorists? They believe there's a "behind the scenes" operation going on.

No phobias, thankfully. All of my fears are somewhat rational. I'm not too keen to ladders as yksi mentioned. Stepping stools are the only way to go. I'm not a big fan of snakes, but I wouldn't say I'm afraid of them. Spiders -- I just can't see anyone could be scared of one. I mean, it's not going to bite you unless it's a black widow, brown recluse/hobo, orb weaver or any other aggressive spider, all of which are rare*. I wouldn't constitute the fears to phobias though. More like misconception and misinformation.
*Except if you live on the east coast, Maryland and lower. Black Widows are fairly common there/here. |
