Posted: Sat Feb 10, 2007 2:18 am Post subject: Can't burn custom GH2 DVD! Everything else OK though |
|
|
Topic pretty much says it all. I followed all of the steps in the custom song sticky to the letter- copied the filed from the GH2 dvd, replaced the song, synced the song up perfectly, made the .IML, and made the .ISO from the .IML
The only step I have left is to burn the .ISO to my DVD-R (which is a Sony DVD-R, supposedly 1st class media from the DVD media list), but it doesn't seem to work! I've tried Nero, Alcohol 120, and DVD Decrypter, and they all basically tell me something along the lines of 'incompatible format'
Is there something I'm just not seeing? Please help, I'm totally at a loss! |

OK reporting in again, I tried updating my burner with some newer custom firmware and now I can burn to the DVD-R's, but can't get the PS2 to recognize them with Coder+slide tool. I swap the DVD at the boot menu with the tool and then it loads for a second, goes back to the system browser with my memory cards, and then shows the red/black 'cannot recognize ps2 disc' window
Oh well, getting closer I suppose |

Yea I thought that might be the case, but no I'm making a DVD from the image, not copying the .ISO file itself onto the DVD |

That's one solution. But, you can also try DVD+R media. Those work for me. DVD-R don't work for me. |
