I have had 1 LP and I love it. (in fact I got a second one with GHA just for friends)
Mine's weird though (the original from GH3) because the frets don't have those things underneath that make it hard to press down so it feels like I'm playing on a SG with a longer strum bar and better whammy.
Does anyone else have the same frets that I do? All my friends don't and it makes me feel awesome XD _________________

A little. But I don't mind, since I press hard, strum hard, and still lasts.
I like the LP since I never had any troubles with it except the time I spilled soda on it, which was my problem.
Premium instruments? I'm gonna wait for pictures on this one. _________________

Separate purchase?
Unless someone from SH is able to test out both of these sets of instruments, then I think I might wait to see what everyone says about them. I really don't feel like buying a poor set of instruments then having to go out and spend another $100 or so on a new kit. =/ |

Yeah, I'm personally gonna hold off on buying the game all together until I get word on what works and what doesn't. _________________

My understanding from this article was that Red Octane and Logitech are working together to make the instruments rather than having two sets. However, I might just be reading it wrong. |

I'd say the SGs were pretty perfect. The only thing that I like about the Les Pauls over the SGs is the faceplates. The Les Pauls are horrible in quality. I'm on my second Les Paul after getting my first one a month ago. The first one's strum bar broke and the second one is breaking. I'm not rough at all on these either. I was rougher on the SGs (and the Kramer too, which was good), and they lasted me over a year. |
I think the Les Paul gets the edge though because of the weight. When you alt strum it doesn't shake nearly as much as a hallow SG. My Les Paul has yet to break so I kinda like it the best. SG is definitely my second favorite though. _________________

/ME IS EXCITED.
Hrmmm.... considering The Ant Commandos aren't coming out with any Xbox 360 controllers (and GameInformer gave their PS2 controllers mediocre reviews) I am thinking Logitech will produce the first QUALITY third-party controllers for the series. Logitech keyboards, mice, and sterring wheels are amazingly good in quality, so this should be an interesting step for them as a company _________________

I'm probably gunna get a guitar from them. It will be the SG of the 360 I've been waiting for. (I hope.)
I'd rather not talk about problems with my Les Paul for two reasons:
1. It's most likely considered "Flaming" which is frowned upon.
2. People hear me get pissed off about the Les Paul all the time. I think they've heard enough.

PS2 is a long from dead system. Makes sense to release it on it. More consumers. _________________

Will it also be a webcam? XD
This is good news, hopefully, I don't want a guitar as broken as the LP, I want a SG quality guitar. _________________

That would be nice if they sold the instruments separately. That way I could buy the game, Logitech drum kit, Logitech bass, and Logitech guitar. The mic doesn't get much use in my house.
Then again, the guitar shown at E3 does look pretty cool with the select button being a big bar right next to, and perpendicular to, the strum bar.
If reviews from many fellow SH'ers reveal that both sets of instruments are good, then I will most likely side with Logitech. |

I think the original bundle guitar and the LT guitar will be the same,
with some Logitech hardware inside, now we need something for
RedOctane to work on. _________________

Seriously, detachable neck?C'mon. |
From what I've heard so far, the stock WT drum kit is already supposed to work perfectly. _________________
