9th/10th is best for me. If the meet-up isn't when I'm away on holiday (which is on the 16th and 17th so couldn't come then) then I'll definately come.

yeh im looking forward to playing some customs i hope someone has some dream theater tracks they should be pretty insane and ive been wanting to play dream theater since gh2

hope its not between the 8th-11th just remembered i wouldnt be able to go for those days

Well im in England right now(Ipswich to be exact), and I'll be here until Saturday the 9th. But if a meet was taking place, i could stretch it until the monday, and get a train back to Scotland

But yeah, i can pretty much do any location, however more to the south would be easier from where i am right now.

Just hope to see one organised, and go to my first ever meet

I dunno what to suggest really... Brighton and London are great and fairly easy from there, Southampton and Portsmouth too but I don't really know first hand what they're like for going out. Having said that, I've just had a look at my student railcard and found that it expired a couple of weeks ago, so even London (the cheapest option for me) might be a little bit expensive just to wander out for a drink.

I dunno, if someone else wants to sort something out, I'll see what I can do, but it'd be a bit pointless for me to arrange something I might not be able to attend.

Seriously though, we should sort out a proper meetup over the next couple of months, October/November kinda time?

I have no major problem with having it a bit further north, the only reason London tends to come up as a suggestion is that it's usually easy for anyone to get to from anywhere. But yeah, Birmingham is easy enough for me if I'm at uni. Might be a bit harder if I'm getting there from home, but there's plenty of time to work something out. It would make it a bit more difficult for me to scout around and help find places to hold it, but I guess we could work around that.

Since Matt doesn't really seem to be around much these days, I might start a new topic with a new poll etc an' stuff so we can at least keep the top post updated. I'll leave it a day or so in case he turns up...
