First off, I have searched for this answer and found nothing, I apologize if I am repeating it. While creating a custom song, I was trying to string sustaining notes of the same color with no luck. When previewing in GHEX, they appear as unsustained notes. I then noticed this for the song Gemini on hard mode:

In the explorer they appear unsustained, but in game they sustain into each other. Is this a software bug or problem on my end?

I hope I'm not being confusing here. Thank You.

Wow, nice find.

All this time I thought it was a specification within the construction of MIDIs, but it looks like an error/bug within GHEx, but it's not biggie. I'd always add in stops so you could see the sustains in GHEx but it seems it's unnecessary.

Thanks for the reply whiskeyface. It must have been your post about putting in the stops, when reading an answer to a similar question. Because that's what I was trying to do and noticed this when taking a break and playing a few songs. Although the beginning of Surrender shows up fine. Not a biggie, no, I was just racking my brain on this. Thanks!

I actually got online to mention this problem with another song. At the beginning of Killing In The Name, it shows the first chord and the 4th chord as sustains, when all 4 of them should be.
