Alternate Lead Chart for Co-Op (PART GUITAR COOP)

I understand the basic way to accomplish this, I was just wondering if there were any special considerations I need to take when doing this for my own custom songs.

Mainly I think that it is possible that if I wanted to do this, I'd have to replace an original song that already has a PART GUITAR COOP track in the midi... am I wrong for assuming this?

You make the track just like you would normally, just with another name.
And you should also include a PART RHYTHM track instead of PART BASS.
