Why, and how, does The Sims 2 manage to eat up so much of my spare time, even now, so long after it came out?
Seriously... I'm a 28 year old guy, and I have this game, plus five expansions... a total of thirteen frickin' CDs!! This game is taking up 6.42 GB of my hard drive... and I haven't even installed the most recent expansion yet!
Anyway, I'm off to go ruin some poor Sim family's lives again.
Edit: Sorry, I meant to put this in Gaming... _________________

My sister bought a ton of these way back, designing the house is the best part, it gets boring after that for me. And not enough ways to kill them tbh. But maybe that's just me... |

I bought Sims 2 but our computer just isn't capable of handling all the video qualifications and it's laggy as hell..which sucks, because it seems like a really fun game compared to Sims 1... _________________

I didn't like the Sims In general), just something about it I didn't like.
So I took it back to game shop and got another game. _________________

After reading this thread it made me want to play Sims again, so I got out my disk to install it, and it won't work!! My computer won't even recognize that the disk is even in the drive, nothing at all shows up in My Computer. I thought maybe my drive was messed up, so I tried the expansion packs and they show up fine. So I tried on my wife's laptop, exact same thing. Weird. |

*Looks back on his life of Sims 1.*
I'm glad I never bought Sims 2, or I don't think I would have even DISCOVERED Guitar Hero. _________________
