again, no darkviper i am not joking. while rb has full albums for download and they make good choices for dlc, the dragonforce track pack is pretty much the funnest shredding you can get for guitar in a music-rhythm game. metallica is a huge band and the virtuoso track pack is really good. and again, this is just my opinion. each person can have their own opinion
guitar hero overall has a diverse range of genres and plenty of old and new music. rock band has an incredible amount of newer music.

If you aren't really into the whole drums and vocal thing I could see why he'd say that. Megadeth is awesome and everything but the virtuoso pack and dragonforce pack are pretty big competitors to that.
Also Metallica.- |
thank you.

fuck yeah, give us some death metal dlc, at least something that blow up your damn head.
Abnormality on RB is just insane. thats the kind of thing we want ! |

No Rain is awesome; ever since I saw it was on the next GH:OT I was hoping it would make it's way to GH:WT. Also the classic rock pack is pretty epic even though I already have Rock n Roll Band for RB. |

Why does Neversoft insist on making life harder on non-DLC consoles by releasing the guitar battle songs as DLC. Last I checked, PS2s have to play the songs too, so why are you making the same mistake as GH3 by not putting them on-disk??!! _________________

I don't quite understand everyone's enthusiam. Not to be a downer, but this launch DLC is a VERY bad indicator to me. Neversoft has already made 2 CRUCIAL mistakes:
1. No mention of Wii DLC. That. Is. Not. Good.
2. Boss Battle songs not on-disc. WTF? Did they learn how huge opf a mistake that was from GH3? That was like the #1 or 2 complaint, and they basically just ignored it, and put a big middle finger to PS2 owners/people without Live/PSN.
*sigh* maybe I'm overreacting, but this seems like a bad sign for the future.
A lot of DLC is a plus though. _________________

What a shame.
That leaves my 2GB SDs all lonely and empty.
Time to load them with porn.
JK JK JK JK JK.
I was expecting something with the Wii Store.
Add-ons and DLC for games.
Ah well.
I still have hope for the Wii.
I do regret buying it though.
Except for SSBB. ;] |

this has to be a joke. Have you seen the DLC RB has been releasing lately? Peace Sells, Moving Pictures, Blood Sugar Sex Magic and Dr. Feelgood full albums? Texas Flood on the way? Bad to the Bone and All Right Now? Screaming Trees? Offspring? yes please. And all of this stuff has been released in the last MONTH. Blood Sugar Sex Magik alone is better than anything GH3 has put out. I'm not trying to start a war but this guy is annoying me. There's no way you can justify Guitar Hero DLC being better than RB DLC. |
Even though Rock band releases greater quantities, most of it doesn't have the level of fun on guitar as the Guitar Hero dlc. |

I go to make a post here, and the banner ad that shows up at the top of the page is advertising Guitar Praise.
Looks like you guys have some competition of BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS!

This time it might have been a size issue. Think about it. 84 songs + all the menus, the engine, tutorials, videos, etc + song creator + whatever other data = a big ass game. One DVD can only hold so much. I doubt this is the reason, but I guess it's always a possibilty.
Could a Neversoft employee come clear this up, please? |
