Pickles is cool (just having talked to him online), and several other players are as well, but people like LilQ have a tendency to ruin the whole image by themselves.
Anyway, ITG does indeed have some excellent songs AND excellent charts. Kyle Ward is easily comparable to Naoki - not just in the sense that they both are the in-house music composers, but in quality of their music. Anubis, Tribal Style, Renaissance, Take Me Back...great songs.
Charts in ITG tend to go all over the board in terms of quality. Overall, the ITG2 steps are mostly good, and the ITG1 steps are mostly bad. For Hard, especially. The biggest pull to ITG, honestly, is the fact that it has some very difficult charts that are written very well (Go 60 Go, Bloodrush, Energizer, Summer, Hardcore of the North, Infection, Xuxa, etc.), adding play value for people who don't find enough challenge in DDR. |

Actually this is untrue. ITG was aimed to be just another dancing game. With the usual Beginner (Novice), Light (Easy), Standard (Medium), Heavy (Hard).
Of course DDR does have Challenge mode, but its not equal to ITG's Expert mode really.
Alot of people believe ITG's Expert is equal to DDR's Heavy, just because its the top difficulty. However, Expert is just a plus to ITG. If you play most of the songs on Hard, they're closer to DDR's heavy. same should go with other difficulties.
Novice is also a little bit easier on some songs in ITG. Seeing as every novice chart is rated 1 difficulty. |
