I think I remember from a while back that this user lives somewhere where he/she can't get a guitar.
I'm sorry, but I can't help either. |

Well, first of all, I suggest starting to use the guitar controller. I've never had any luck using the PS2 controller, nor have I ever known of anyone who could use it well. It's just too hard to do fast chords and scales with the PS2.
Secondly, just use your SP on areas of large concentrations of notes. And work on getting all of those notes. Practice practice practice. _________________

There is a video out there of a kid 5*'ing BATM expert with a PS2 controller on youtube... It's totally scary. lemme see if I can find it...
edit: This is not the vid I'm thinking of, in the one I'm thinking of, it acually shows shots of the kid playing on the controller... this is a 4-star reputedly with a ps/2 controller though, although it's never shown: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cc7GWxI2pzY |

I think that video is with a guitar controller. At some points I think I heard the distinctive sound of the strum bar. A Duel Shock would never make that kind of sound. |

Damn dyslexia. I thought you said he hit the yellow when he was holding down the green. There goes my super explanation I had about holding down lower notes...
Maybe he just lifted his finger off at nearly the exact same time as him hitting the note. I've done it before a few times. _________________

because with a dual shock you can keep any button pressed and press another it's very diferent from the guitar controller |

Really? That doesn't make much sense. How could it recognize the difference between multipe notes held down and chords then? I would guess that it's the same situation with lower notes able to be held during higher notes. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, though, and explain to me why the controller would be different. _________________
