Does anyone have one of these replacement PS2 cases that have the flip-top cover? I saw a website that offers transparent whole case replacements and they look pretty awesome. I was just wondering what the quality of the material is like.

Here's a picture of the transparent cases.

If you have one, where did you order it from and how sturdy is it?

(I'm not providing the link to the website or explaining the purpose of the flip-top but if this post is going beyond the SH guidelines, I'll understand if it gets deleted.)

Did you happen to notice that the poster didn't talk about the function of the case? He asked specifically how durable they were. Since you didn't answer the question, and in fact provided an answer to a question that he very deliberately avoided asking, I've removed your text. --Riz

I would have to say they are very durable. I mean your PS2 shouldn't face many dangers if you take care of it.
The hinges don't wear out, I had one for 2 years, and I used the lid to load games. (My tray motor went AWOL on me)
I give em a 5 star. Just make sure your comfortable takin the console apart, otherwise it's scary doing it for the first time.

Yeah, I'm pretty comfortable taking consoles apart. I was big into the X-Box modding scene and I don't think this should be any more complicated. I question the material because I know that there were a bunch of 3rd party X-Box cases that were pure garbage. After installing them, if you tried to pick up your console, they would break in half.

Anywho, you got a PM.
