Me: I love the Big Lebowski. It really ties my DVD collection together, man.

Some Guy: It's ok.

Me: It's the best movie ever made. Am I wrong? Am I wrong?

Some Guy: No, you're not wrong, dspoonrt. You're just an asshole.

There. I saved us all the time of having the actual conversation. I even threw in a few Lebowski quotes.

I'd say it's on par with Clerks I. It's different from the first, but it complements it nicely. All the characters that we have come to know and love were there and unchanged. One of the things I loved so much about it was that it didn't just rely on making references to the first. Not counting the first and last 5 minutes there were very little references to the first.

And the Lord of the Rings convo was pure gold.

You forgot the part where someone tells you to shut the fuck up a couple dozen times.

Clerks II might have replaced Blazing Saddles as the funniest movie I've ever seen...and that's not something easy to accomplish because Mel Brooks is probably the funniest human being on the planet.

I wouldn't say it was as funny as Spaceballs or Blazing Saddles, but its high up there.

Its slightly better than the 1st clerks, for different reasons. I'm glad they kept everyone the same, that movie is just damn hilarious all around.

they won't let me in the theatre, bastards, i'm not 17 or 18 yet, i dunno the law...i think it's 17...

but i plan on watching it when my bro buys it...cause i've seen the anime, and i'm aware that there are some very disturbing scenes in there, but if it means watching Randal make fun of Lord of the Rings, what the hell right?

Did you just say you've seen a Clerks anime? Also sneaking into an R rated movie is possibly the easiest task imaginable.

I can't decide between Super Troopers and Monty Python and the Holy Grail for the funniest movie I've ever seen. The problem is that i can't really compare them. So I'll say they both rock.

The cartoon "Clerks Uncensored" from NBC back in the day. You can buy the DVD almost anywhere for around $10. It was pretty funny.

And I agree with Pope, Super Troopers FTW.

I own it and have watched it dozens of times. It was ABC and technically it's the DVD that's called Clerks Uncensored the show was just Clerks. I'm saying it's not anime. At all.

Yeah, I couldn't quite remember what network had it. I just thought it was NBC. But yeah, I'm sure that's just what he was talking about. People say the wrong thing all the time when talking about similar forms of art. ex. "I love that punk band Fallout Boy." You just have to accept the fact that most people are only 75% sure of what they're talking about.

You like Pirates more than Clerks? Blasphemy. Or is it sarcasm? Can't tell because of internet. Can't compute.
