Seriously Confused

Alright, I'm not entirely sure where to put this, so I'll put it here. Sorry for any misunderstandings... but...

For some reason, my Playstation 2 with fliptop can no longer read my original copy of GH2. When I put it in it gets to the black screen with "Playstation 2" in white letters, then the playstation starts clicking very loudly for a minute. After that it just stops and doesn't load anything. It loads every other game fine, and when I put the original top back on it it reads GH2 perfectly fine. I am so confused.

Any input would be great. Thanks
