lol, wow. My bad, I really don't remember posting that at all. I'm tired, cut me some slack. A mod can delete the second one if they wish.

The list is in a word doc, hence same format and order.

I might as well:

(in chronological order)
Rush
Jethro Tull
Boston/Styx
Cheap Trick/Heart/Journey

The last conert freakin' rip-offed Cheap Trick, they had like 30 minutes.

Rush was the first concert, and it was an epic first concert. They had music videos and videos in the background at points. I remember Alex Lifeson showing up in the video in a white suit with a white background and saying:

"Ride your bike, don't drive your car;
Don't kick your dog when it craps on the flood"

Then, they had the kids from South Park pretend to be Rush, and Cartman changed "Tom Sawyer" to "Huckleberry Finn" and they argue about it. He said "I'm Getty Lee, what I say goes!" The whole crod was cheering at the end "YYZ! YYZ! YYZ!" as a encore. And they played. Very epic concert indeed.

I hoping to see Metallica and/or Bang Camaro, the latter most likely.

Although I don't like them, I've heard they put on a great show and have a great sound to them. Anyone else seen them?

Might interest some...

About a year and a half back or so.. Freezepop came to my area and performed a free show along with some other bands outside the local college. They played a decent bit of time too considering there were so many artists (the event lasted like half the day)

so nice. Talked to them a little before their time playing and got autographs. Haha, I ALMOST thought it would be a good idea to bring my GH controller and get it signed.. But then I figured I'd just look like a major fag carrying it around and would get shit "Oh u tool u onli like them case of the game they was in"

Just saw the Silversun Pickups and Muse last night. Both put on pretty amazing shows; specifically, bands just don't put on classic light shows like the one Muse put on here.

Agreed, Muse always come out with the most amazing light shows.

This past month I've seen:

Lostprophets twice
We Are the Ocean
Kids In Glass Houses twice
Drive There Now

and I'll be going to see You Me At Six in a few weeks (March 16th).

Futher away gigs I'm planning on going to: Sonisphere UK, Leeds Festival and Muse at Wembley (September).

3/4 - Fireworks, hellogoodbye, Saves the Day, New Found Glory

Yeah, New Found Glory's 10th Anniversary Tour. Personally, I thought this was a fantastic line-up even though hellogoodbye totally didn't fit in at all with the other bands.

Fireworks hometown show so everyone went crazy. Great crowd compared to the last time I saw them. Talked to them for a bit after the show, then when we went to eat they showed up at the same resteraunt and ended up sitting with us. It was great.

I've never been a big fan of hellogoodbye, but they sounded great. They played a lot of new stuff, but it was all fun.

I was the only person in my friends who was excited to see Saves the Day, but they ended up being quite boring. I've been a fan of them for awhile, and even though they sounded great they didn't really get me moving =/

New Found Glory was fantastic. I've wanted to see them since 2002 (Sticks and Stones was easily my favorite album back then), and finally getting that chance was amazing. They played through the whole self-titled album, then played a six song encore encompassing some of their best tunes. It was wonderful.

As a random note, I somehow ended up seeing Shai Hulud at the Metal Frat in Ann Arbor. My cousin's just-for-fun hardcore band was playing a show there so I went to see them, and then discovered Shai Hulud was playing. It was awesome.

3/13 - Silversun Pickups, Muse

H O L Y S H I T

I have been waiting to see both of these bands for years. Silversun absolutely killed it. Opening with "Growing Old Is Getting Old" was pretty badass, as the long bass intro gave their performance so much power when the drums finally kicked in. Every song sounded amazing, and Brian's interludes between the songs were badass. Everything sounded incredible, and the set list was near perfection (ignoring the fact that "Kissing Families" wasn't present ). Also, I was right at the front so I could completely take in how adorable Nikki is in person.

And then Muse played, and exceeded my already incredibly high expectations. Not only was the band flawless, but so was everything else. The stage setup, the light show, the setlist, the interludes, as well as the band's shenanigans. Also, I knew Matt was a great guitarist, but he really shined during this show. I had absolutely no idea how technical he could really be until I witnessed some of the stuff he played inbetween songs. I also realized that when radio stations and other publications call them the best live band in the world, they aren't lying. I will never forget this performance for the rest of the my life
