You never know until you try! Tournaments are a great way to know how you stack up against the other top pros. It hardens your nerves and prepares you for even bigger events down the line. If WCG does pick the game up, this would help you get ready for the pressure of competing.
In the end, it would at least give you some perspective on how you are currently doing against others. From your scores, I'd say you have a great shot. No reason not to try!

Hey grim, do what I'm going to do. Play on my friend's XBox and rape all the live scrubs :/ We both know PS3 carries the better players anyways, why let the scrubs have the fun?

So wait... the top 4 qualifier score entrants have a shot at the interview? Or the 4 quarterfinalists do? That didn't seem explicitly clear.

The final four of the bracketed tournament are offered interviews. These qualifiers are just to give me some way to seed everyone properly into the bracket
