I live in Evanston and am a student at NU ... why can't I find any tournaments in Chicago? I am new to the site, so maybe I'm just dumb. I'm top 10 on the 360 leaderboards both on this site and online, so I think I could give the competition a run for their money, but I can't seem to find any tournaments in the country's 3rd biggest city ..... |

The combination of Pope and K3v being in one state has caused most of the competition to hang themselves for fear of humiliation.
I can never find tournaments, although sometimes they happen and native Illinoisans who aren't that good at GH don't tell their friends who are so they can have a chance at winning the prizes themselves. (Cliff can back me up on this.) I've been to two so far (in the past 9 months of looking for tournaments). _________________

Despite that, do they still hold them anywhere? Should I contact those guys directly? |

Most IL tournaments aren't very widely advertised. I'd suggest you check all the gaming stores/organizations around you on a weekly basis, and keep your eyes and ears open at all times, and as soon as you find out about any, post them in this forum please.
