The DLC as of late (Barring the Soccer tunes) has been a bit disappointing, and to pick things up, I think we need:
Southern Rock Track Pack 2
The Amboy Dukes - Journey to the Center of the Mind Psychedelic, varied, and just catchy.
Blackfoot - Train,Train (Live) Numerous Guitar solos, a good number of different drum beats and fills, and hella fun to sing if you know the words.
The Allman Brothers Band - Southbound When hasn't ABB been fun in a rhythm game? Disco beat on drums, constant Guitar fills, and fun bass, this song is perfect for guitar hero.

I don't know how popular they are outside of Canada, but I am shocked and appauled at the lack of Billy Talent. They are probably one of the best bands to come out of the 2000's (IMO obviously).
Seriously. Billy Talent's music is quite interesting on all instruments. Maybe a little if'y on the vocals, but they are a great new band (I say this even though they have 3 albums and 4 if you include their one album under the band name Pezz) that deserves to have some rhythm game recognition. Who's with me!? |

Well, I've always REALLY wanted to see Redneck by Lamb of God in a GH game, but also...
I will kill you by Cannibal Corpse
Any more pantera songs, but specifically Domination, Cemetary Gates, F**king Hostile, A new level, Yesterday don't mean sh*t, ***damn electric, and Strength beyond Strength.
I'd love to see ALOT more slayer, but the one i'd like the most would be South of Heaven or Captor of Sin.

Yes, I'm aware that there's a few repeats. (Though Working Man is debatable, I was thinking of the original here). But they're all perfect for GH.
Oh, and trust me about these NIN choices. They're all modern, but without immediately going for The Perfect Drug and The Hand That Feeds, they seemed like some of the best choices. Mr. Self Destruct was going here, too, but I changed it for Not So Pretty Now.

I hope the DLC output will increase with GH:WOR. The LP and Soundgarden packs are going this way

I think I have a pretty good idea that would make it alot easier to see what you're doing wrong, or to make videos (what I would mostly use it for)
I think that you should be able to play back specific sections of the previous run, or the WHOLE run. I think it would benifit those who are still workin with non-rechargeable digital cameras.

I am not sure if this has been previously discussed but I am a huge fan of screamo/posthardcore music. For example my favorite bands are alesana, the devil wears prada, underoath, attack attack, of mice and men, sky eats airplane, just to name a few. I believe that there should be more songs and bands like these in guitar hero or at least in dlc. Besides dez moines there are very few songs from the screamo/posthardcore/metalcore genere. Let me know your opinions. Btw please make commenta only if you actually listen and know what screamo is so dont say linkin park!!! Thanks

Since we have Deadfall coming into GH:WoR I really hope we get some DLC from Snot.
Especially their song Snot. Fun sounding guitar, awesome sounding bass-line, drum solo, and every song they do is fun on Vocals.

There I fixed it in my post. I should have said Snot instead of them..kinda knew what I was saying so it sounded right to me. XP
But the song I was referring to is indeed named Snot as well. :P
