Surely paths are gonna vary wildly depending on what characters used, and discovering the 'best' character for each song is gonna be just as important as the right path once using that character?

Yay, I've finally had 100 things worth saying.

You can use powers for challenges in Quickplay+ so they can affect score pretty much everywhere.

There is a seperate leaderboard for non-character power scores

I just checked and score tracking isn't up for GH6 on ScoreHero. I assume you may be taking about a site other than ScoreHero or online leaderboards, in which case f/e. But still a comprehensive SP thread for GH6 is gonna have to include paths both for and without powers. Its entirely possible ScoreHero will only have one leaderboard and thus the highest scores on it are gonna be the ones submitted by people that have utilized powers.

I'm not too sure, but IIRC with all powers it is possible for SP to last the whole song, therefore making QP+ paths pretty much nonexistant.

I'm pretty sure these are paths for Quickplay only. Just normal play without all the power ups, just like every other song we keep track of here on SH. I'm sure that if there is a big enough call for the QP+ score tracking, JCirri will incorporate it on a stand alone score tracking system. Otherwise, these are just "star power" paths for a normal score.

In Quickplay you can only pick two powers to use. If you're purely going for score, then obviously the ones that give the biggest possible multiplier, or SP for longest, will give you the highest score.

Bleed it Out
3 - 8th GY (Squeeze to GRY sustain)
2(+1) - 2nd GR in next star power phrase

This got me 1st globally on ScoreHero and 2nd on Xbox Live

So... there seems to be pretty much no fixed rules or even a way of enforcing rules on what format you need to play in to submit scores for GH6?

Makes submitting scores seem a bit pointless to me.

Again
2-NN
2-NN
2-NN
2-10th GY

Not sure about the last one but it should end on the GRY sustain

honestly, if you see a scores 70k pts ahead of everyone, its pretty much QP+ with powers, which is not permitted at this time. check here for future announcment on score-tracking

lets say 3 - 4th RB chord

after 3 star power phrases accumulated, use star power on the fourth red-blue chord
NN means next note also
