Ok, I'm kinda new to drums, i can do most songs on medium but only a few on hard, i tried going for the fury of the storm completion trophy which requires the song to be completed on hard or higher drums and failed around 15% in, any tips on how to pass this would be greatly appreciated. |

Well, if you're trying it on hard, I would say to ignore the kicks on the Y, YR, Y, YR part. That said, it's a pretty simple pattern, just make sure you're in rythm and don't wear your arm out.
I don't like playing it on hard due to the lack of kicks, but still can't play it on expert+ because the blasts at the begining kill me...

If you're specifically having trouble with the thrash beat, (the R+Y, Y+K R+Y etc. etc.) then I'd suggest practicing on a song with thrash beats that's a bit slower.
If you have GH:M there are tons of songs on there to practice that pattern on.
If not I believe Chemical Warfare is a bit slower in it's thrash beat than FotS, so it might be worth trying to get through that song first just to get the beat down and make your life alot easier. _________________
1st place on 8 GH:WoR songs on Expert+ drums! (well, at least for a couple days).
XBL Gamertag: Gavesit
Add me if you wanna play RB 3, GH:WoR, GTA IV, Halo Reach, Left 4 Dead etc. etc.
