I don't understand why Neversoft/Beenox/Who ever is picking the songs for this game, goes for easy DLC.
The best GH3 selling DLC were Metallica/Dragonforce/Guitar Virtuoso packs. |
This, just replace AWM, AWY with If I Could Fly. (Screw Coldplay. XD) _________________

So, possibly what you're looking for is a fun and very challenging track for guitar and not giving a crap about all other instruments. I think i may have something in mind for that kind of thing....
Buckethead Track Pack
Jordan
Soothsayer
Nottingham Lace
I'm sure that'll work for something good for guitar... _________________

Also a Buckethead or Dragonforce track pack would be nice. _________________

THIS. It would be great to have a Dire Straits song in which Mark Knopfler actually sings... Plus the solo is awesome.

I would sell my soul for this track pack.
Covered Up Track Pack
The Green Manalishi (With the Two Pronged Crown) by Judas Priest Originally by Fleetwood Mac
Bad Company by Five Finger Death Punch Originally By Bad Company
Take on Me by Reel Big Fish Originally by Aha
All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix Originally by Bob Dylan
Black Magic Woman (Live) by Santana Originally by Fleetwood Mac
I'd suggest The Man Who Sold the World, but we're not gonna see any Nirvana for quite some time... _________________

So far, I am kinda disappointed with the WoR era DLC; on the vocals front, nothing seemed to come up that would seem to be as fulfiling as the Soundgarden pack IMO. And that's especially so with a weak on-disc setlist for that too.
On that note, I talked with StormEagle about this a few weeks back, and we both came to the conclusion that some songs from The Darkness would make incredible DLC if they pick the right songs. I know that "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" was already in the On Tour series, but that would be an AMAZING full-band experience if Beenox charts it right.
Please, I would so LOVE it _________________

crystal planet - joe satriani
the second loudest guitar in the world - paul gilbert
nottingham lace - buckethead _________________

In fact, not only did we boost the volume of that vocal phrase, but we replaced the vocals of every song in the game with the phrase "FIST FUCK" repeating over and over. | You can still...
FIST FUCK Ahh-merrr-I-Caaahh |

If all those songs were DLC I would never have to buy another DLC pack again |
