I'm sure when melted down and injected at least one part of the Pony's would give you a solid trip. They are magical after all. _________________

Oh dear god don't let my husband see this thread.
In a nutshell:
• My husband and I LOVED The Powerpuff Girls. We own the full series on DVD and it has to be one of the best cartoon shows ever.
• Lauren Faust and Craig McCracken are brilliant artists and writers (and married!)
• Lauren Faust created My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
• Much love is required.
Personally I find the art style and the characters to be adorable, though admittedly I haven't seen very much of it. It's definitely a show geared at kids, but Lauren's addition of more adult jokes is always a staple of her cartoon shows.
I also think it's awesome that Lauren acknowledges that the-site-that-shall-not-be-named made it popular. She is also very active on the internet and quite responsive to haters of the show.
I think what I love most about the whole thing is Lauren's approach on TV for young girls. Not exactly feminist, just an edgier twist on programming for girls... she's just not afraid to do certain things (I mean, Rainbow Dash has to be one of the most obviously gay characters on a children's TV show). I just love how a show that is actually really good has achieved internet notoriety and one of the girliest sounding shows ever is extremely popular among young males. Not unlike how Powerpuff Girls gathered a sort of cult following when it was popular (and you can bet if certain sites had been around back then, PPG would have exploded with just as much popularity). It's just that perfect mixture of quirky and unique.
As for another fansite - http://www.ponychan.net/chan/ (Don't worry, it's SFW... finally a place with standards!)
(And the best thing about these fansites is that so much of it's content is actually creative like the above. Awesome!) _________________

True story, someone got arrested here in Greensburg, PA because he was creating a new hallucinogen in his apartment. The only problem was when he was cooking it, the fumes were going upstairs, to a different apartment... who called 911 because he and the dogs were freaking out, due to said fumes making them trip. _________________

MLP is actually a very good show.
Don't knock it until you watch a couple of episodes.

Dude, I've been an active member of PonyChan for like a month now. I watched 19 episodes in 2 days back in early March, been a hardcore fan ever since...the new episode today was pretty good. _________________

Seriously...how can you beat this? I defy you to find something cooler than this.
I'll do you a favor: you can't.
This is the greatest show in western animation since the Powerpuff Girls.
I'll spare you the rant. |

I kinda liked the first episode, but once the singing began in the second, it was just too much. XD (Skipped ahead of the song and finished the second episode.) It's a pretty decent show, and definitely very entertaining for the little kids. _________________

Lol the title sounds retarded, maybe it's because of "Little Pony".
I may give it a look later when I have more time. |

This.
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG PONIES
I was just about to make an MLP thread!
Guys, if you haven't seen any MLP, I recommend starting with the episodes Winter Wrap Up, Boast Busters, or Applebuck Season. Personally, I don't like the pilot very much, so starting with these might give you a better first impression. _________________
