I have only met one person from SH, and he lived in Ohio. XD

I was supposed to do some coop with ace (remember him?) a while back since he lived like 20 minutes away, but nothing ever happened. I don't really know anyone else in the San Diego/LA area, sadly. Lethalfisheater is from Long Beach though, but that's really all I know :p

Anyway yeah, you guys all rock, I would certainly love to meet up someday, even if GH/RB dies out completely. I would offer up my own accommodations but I don't exactly have a place of my own to offer :p

I feel really bad for folks who've never gotten to meet another SH individual in person. I think I've met, what: 50+? Dozens, certainly. Many of them now-dormant entities, inactive for multiple years... but part of the Older Days of the website, back when the joint was jumpin' in spades.

It's often something of an awesome experience, getting to meet someone who is just as gung-ho about rhythm gaming as you are, where you don't have to explain or feel apologetic about your passion, and where you can casually refer to techniques / nomenclature / "internet famous" individuals without a second thought. (The Total Rock Total Rewards event in 2010, where there were at least umpteen of us in a hotel together, was just glorious in ways I can't effectively elaborate upon.) If ever you can swing such a thing - "hey, I'll be in [city] for a totally unrelated reason, any cool SH peeps wanna hang?" - I absolutely advocate posting about such journeys and attempting to make a gathering come to fruition.

Side note: if any of you can be in San Francisco this Thursday night, there are a number of SH folks who'll be at Umloud! - and part of the Headlining Band there, no less. Including myself, and PMS Clan member pmswedge, and Hitoshura, he of the "achieved all the RB3 in-game goals" fame! (If you're super-sure you can make it, I may still have a couple of "guest ticket" codes I can send out to interested parties. Shoot me a PM or something.)
