Leaderboards have been updated, for today, 10/24/2014, enjoy. The bass boards were pretty quiet, with the only action occurring on Expert. All other boards had no changes at all. Over on Expert, we had VertigoMan get 1,001,174 points, just enough to get him onto the Overall board. Congrats to VertigoMan, for making the update worthwhile. Perhaps there will be more action next week.
As for me, there was not a lot new, work, Diablo3, Hearthstone, pool. For work, we had a new tech this week, whom I was able to train on all the things that I could think of, showing her my buildings, her buildings and general things she would need to know. All in all, it was a lot of info in one week, hopefully she is not too overwhelmed. Diablo3 is still great, I have been working on the remaining characters I have, and now have 4 very well geared characters, now able to run torment 5 or 6, leaving only the Strength characters. Hearthstone, I continue to finish the daily goals, and get new cards, but I am still frustrated by the sheer amount of luck involved with the game. The pool is now set to be closed, just finishing on balancing the chemicals, and then lower the level and cover it. Ironically, the weather is actually very nice this coming weekend, so by putting it all off I might be able to enjoy it a bit more. Cold, but I am crazy like that. Have a great week all.

Leaderboards are up to date for today, 10/29/2014, enjoy. The bass boards were very quiet yet again this week, with the only score changes occurring on the Expert boards. On Expert bass, we had 2,144 points from greenbaymackey, and 39,490 points from dramacomic. I will give the nod of the week to drama, simply because it has got to be hard to find new points when you have played pretty much everything on every difficulty. He is just over a million points outside of the top 3, but I think that may be a hill he just doesn't have the interest in climbing. Lets hope there is more to talk about next week.
As for me, more of the same. Work is great, with the new tech working out well, and dropping my job duties down quite a bit, it should make life more easy going forward. Hearthstone continues to be luck based, but I did manage to get to rank 20, and the super cool pumpkin back for the month so I am happy. Diablo3 is starting to lose its luster, I focussed this week on the DH, so I still haven't jumped in with the Strength classes yet. The pool had its last hurrah this weekend, and due to my procrastination, I was able to enjoy it on Monday when it was over 80 degrees outside. I put in the last of the winterizing chemicals last night, so today I get to drain it and put the cover over it for another 6 months. It will drop to below freezing on Friday so its time, this was a tough pool year all around. Have a great week all.

I realize this thread has very little excitement these days, but I really appreciate you continuing to update it weekly and giving me the nod of the week more often than not! What can I say? Even though I have lots more bass scores than anyone else on this site, it still hasn't lost its fun for me :D
I'd like to improve my Expert scores for the stuff that I can re-FC to sneak my way into 1st in the overall column, which I do think I stand a chance at obtaining at some point anyway due to lower amount of competition on the handhelds (even without Modern Hits I forgot I have a lot of blanks in Band Hero DS, a couple of which I just filled!). Regarding the top 3 for Expert in the main column, I think they all have the FSFC if I'm not mistaken (I know arvain does, at least), and that's just a bit out of my reach. Nevertheless, these leaderboards are still giving me reasons to play, and I probably won't be finished for a good long while so I hope the weekly updates continue despite the lower interest. I have to throw my two cents in as well, and also say a big fat "THANK YOU" for keeping with these updates. Though I moved on to RB for a while because I have more holes to fill, these boards definitely keep the GH side fun!!

I still need to FC This Day We Fight! on hard bass for the FSFC, haven't played that in ages... should really at some point, but I moved back to expert guitar to improve my scores and try and grab a few more FC's over there.
That said, I do have a lot of points to gain on hard bass still, not to mention getting scores in and the FSFC on easy and medium. And I might as well try my luck on expert, too, at some point!
Personally, I think the lack of interest on bass is probably because there are a lot more boring charts compared to guitar. It's to be expected though, games come with easy and difficult songs, so not all of them can be fun to play! I'm currently on GH3 for a while, before moving to GH:A, and then I'll be on GH:WT where bass may factor in somewhere again.
But I agree with both dramacomic and InsolentWill with their thanks to you, bushidox, as these boards (both bass & guitar) have been a big motivation for a lot of players!! Well, the ones that still play lol.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 11/05/2014, enjoy. We had no ranking changes at all this week, and only two players submitted scores, Easy and Medium Bass had no changes at all. Over on Hard Bass, it was InsolentWill with 20,812 points, inching him closer to 71 million points. On Expert bass it was dramacomic with yet another 145,500 points that he found on the Grand Total, congrats to him less than 2 million to go to catch up to Jleggy12. Thanks for the kind words all, even though the number of people whom the updates catch dwindles all the time, the remaining people seem to be the most supportive and friendly, I appreciate you letting me know that the updates are still appreciated. I will give the nod of the week to InsolentWill, by merit of not being dramacomic and updating scores this week. Slow week as per normal for bass, but hey at least there was stuff that changed.
As for me, the normal, Diablo3, Hearthstone, Work and pool. Pool closed just fine with no issues for a change, so that was cool. Work has died down considerably, it being the easy half of the year for me at this point, maybe I will work on some certifications. Hearthstone announced a new expansion, so I am saving up gold for the anticipation of that, hopefully, it will be cool. Diablo3 is still amazing fun, and now I have 4 characters capable of soloing the hardest difficulty, I get to now turn to the strength characters. I did a lot of achievements this weekend, with my wife helping me powerlevel 5 characters to 60+ for those achievements, and we found a couple of others that we had missed. In addition, I have now played through the game on all but the crusader, whom I started playing for the first time last night. The crusader is interesting, I haven't decided if I like the class yet or not. That is about it, have a great week all.

The update for this week's bass boards is brought to you by dramacomic, whom managed to find 154,685 points on the handhelds, and that was it. Thank you drama for making me running the boards this week worth it. Lets hope for more action, any at all next week, maybe from DrSham on his quest for new 1sts?
As for me, nothing new to report. This past week, the wife got me to try to help her out with her new workout, something called Piyo. I call it exquisite torture, but she seems to be sticking to it. I ran 4 miles last night, yea for me. That is about it, have a great week all.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 11/18/2014, enjoy. The bass boards were quiet as per normal, with the only action once again on the Expert boards. On Expert, we had arvain manage a respectable gain of 18,984 points, and the ever reliable greenbaymackey with a ranking increase of one spot and 574,928 points of increase. The nod of the week goes to greenbaymackey, whom has been reliable as clockwork over this past year, and looks like he will top out around 80 million eventually. Typical week, lets hope that Chrisss makes his way onto the board sometime soon and live in things up.
As for me, more of the usual, work, Hearthstone, Diablo3. Work is in the quiet time, which I am not complaining about. Hearthstone announced an expansion, so I am saving gold towards that when it comes out, near year's end. Diablo 3 is still fun, this past week I worked on a hardcore character to try to get some of those achievements. Playing hardcore is interesting, permadeath is an odd thing, makes you play differently, I am up to level 50, and I beat the game on next to lowest setting already. In addition, we, the wife and I have been watching X-Files, which she never got to see in its first run. Have a good week all.

Thanks for the nod, but so long as my current guitar holds up I expect to eventually max out in the low 90 millions. I think I can at least make the top 5 eventually... Very eventually. It's going to take a while to redux everything. I'm sure there will be long breaks at points but I fully intend on going through everything. |

Sometime soon? It's gonna take a good few weeks before I enter a score for every song on expert... but I shall try and liven things up where possible, if I can!

Okay, so you need 55mil to get to the expert leaderboards, meaning I have a hell of a long way to go. Nevertheless, game # 1 finished with just less than 18mil points! I will skip GH:M as I already started GH:SH a while back so I might as well finish that one next!

Leaderboards are up to date for today, 12/03/2014, enjoy. There was no change at all this week to either Easy or Medium Bass, but there were changes on both Hard and Expert. Over on Hard, both InsolentWill and DrSham went up several spots, looking very much like they were trying to one up each other. InsolentWill went up three spots and gained 5,286,685 points, while DrSham went up three spots with 8,333,394 points, I think that is greatest one week haul on Hard Bass in a LONG time. Over on Expert, we had arvain with 7,157 points whom tried to take several 1sts back from greenbaymackey, whom moved up a spot with a solid 785,471 redux and 1st overall on GH5. Despite the massive jump on Hard, I will give the nod of the week to greenbaymackey, gaining 1st overall on a game, and by such a wide margin is always cause for excitement. Great week all around for Bass, lets see if arvain can hold find more interest and break 94 million, and watch greenbaymackey's consistent progress.
As for me, more of the same, Diablo3, Hearthstone, and work. Diablo3 has been fun, got my hardcore character up to level 70, worked on a lot of achievements recently, and finally got another friend to play it. Hearthstone finally announced their expansion date for Goblins and Gnomes, next Tuesday, and I have a 2000 gold stockpile to spend on it. Work has been... interesting. Workwise things are normal, but we closed school last Tuesday due to the grand jury announcement. Students have been walking out of class and protesting, sometimes with the support of the building staff, which is interesting. Last week I spent a fair amount of time with family, did work on my mom's house, had Thanksgiving, and took a mini vacation of two days with my wife to Missouri wine country. All in all, a good time, if a bit cold. Lets hope for a quiet end to things near here soon, have a good week all.

I also went up about 8.5 million in Expert Bass (thanks to actually entering scores on GHSH), but you can't even tell because I'm not on the Expert board, lol.

Leaderboards are up to date for today, 12/09/2014, enjoy. There were no ranking changes this week, and no action at all on Easy or Medium Bass. Over on Hard, it was DrSham, with a very nice haul of 883,223 points, a very solid week's worth of work there. Expert had 3,837 points from arvain, and 4,103 points from greenbaymackey as they both go back and forth trying to redux for 1st places. I will give the nod of the week to greenbaymackey, for continuing to motivate interest in bass and getting arvain to play it again. Great week, next week I suspect DrSham will go up a ranking or two, great to see some competition on this side of GH.
As for me, work, Diablo3, hearthstone, exercise. Exercise is a nice routine now, and I miss it if I don't get 3 full workouts in, which is a promising sign. If I can just get past the knee pain of running, I think I would really lose weight and improve quickly, as my cardio is clearly there. Hearthstone finally had the expansion launch last night, and man are mech cards fun. There is great synergy in the decks, and, having gone thru 25 packs (3 for the promo, 1 from the arena promo and 21 I saved up gold for), I got almost two copies of every common, most of the rares, a few epics and two legendaries. I hope that this will allow me to have more competitive decks moving forward, and less frustration at being "outgunned" with harder to get cards. Diablo3 is a blast, spent most of the week achievement hunting, and came away with a lot of success there. In addition, my friend made it through the game, and we immediately powerleveled him to 70. He has now run 8 rifts, 5 greater rifts, has gotten a goblin portal, and nearly has full level 70 legendaries, quite an impressive first week. I think we got him hooked, and, once geared, we can run 3 (or 4 if another friend is online) rifts on a somewhat regular basis. The game is infinitely more fun as multiplayer, and burning myself out with achievement runs didn't help solo. Have a great week all, 8 days left of work this year for me, woo hoo.
