If there's an Iron Maiden song it'll also be a song already in RB, minus the desirable nature of its drum and bass tracks.

Likely would also be a simpler song like Aces High or a repeated track from legacy GH like The Trooper or Number of the Beast.

At least the Trivium song might be difficult for the average player?
I don't know most of the songs, to be honest, or half the bands/people, so I have no idea what will be fun to play or not. What I do know, however, is that unfortunately there seems to some pop-style music again. For example, I like Carrie Underwood, but in Guitar Hero?

Nevertheless, it's a new concept and a new style guitar which will give people something to learn and get used to. I think I'm gonna get it for Xmas and see how much I suck.

P.S - put some Stratovarius on it!!

You know, at first I was vowing to remain semi-positive and reserve all judgement for the game until it came out, but the more I think about it the more the whole thing falls apart. I just can't see this being any good. In fact I'm betting right now that the best thing about it will be that it'll make me appreciate the previous GHs even more. Just like Sonic Boom and the previous Sonic games.

This list makes me really happy, mostly because none of those are repeats! Tie Your Mother Down is a great choice for Queen, and I like a good number of the rest of those.

Buddy Holly was in one of the On Tour games lol

Anyway I'm not a big fan of them. They aren't bad (except for Bullet for My Valentine), but they aren't doing much to move away from the modern radio rock/metal tone the setlist is taking

I hope to be surprised every week but even as interested as I am in the gameplay and in GHTV, I can't get into the soundtrack as a whole right now. Which is a damn shame
