Modern Hard Rock / Metal Recommendations

One of my biggest regrets was changing the music I listened to in late high school / college to "become a more well rounded musician" and make my parents happy. I used to listen to a lot of hard rock and some metal, but then started listening to everything, which ended up becoming nothing

And now I feel like I've missed out on a lot of good stuff, and it's time to change that

What do y'all consider to be some of the best Hard Rock / Metal albums to have come out in the last 20 years?

For reference, here are some of the ones I liked best before I stopped listen to that sort of music - The Paramour Sessions (Papa Roach), One X (Three Days Grace), Flyleaf (Flyleaf), Break the Cycle (Staind), Astro Creep 2000 (White Zombie), Helmet (Helmet). I also finally gave Avenged Sevenfold a proper listening for the first time recently, digging City of Evil

Is there any decent music from that era, surely all genuinely good rock musuic is from the 70's and 80's?
