Looked in all the sticky's and couldn't find the answer. My mp3 is loud when I listen to it on my pc, but when I convert it to .vgs and play it on ps2, the sound is low. Is there a way to fix this? The volume is set to 100% on the properties tab. Has anyone else ran into this? Could it just be the mp3? Thanks

This shouldn't be in the Custom Songs section. This should be in the Software Section. Please remember to do that from now on when it comes to questions about the software... Thanks.

I don't know what's going on, but maybe other people will.

I find that I usually have to set the volume to 140% on my custom songs to get them to match the volume of the original songs. From there, I usually go up or down 10 to 20% if I notice that the song is still louder or quieter than others.

Thanks for all the replies. I will try to adjust volume over 100%. As far as the channels I select 0 aand 1 only. That is what it said to do in the guide. Should I select more channels?

Leave it at 0 and 1 as the two channels you use.

as was said before, it's just the volume. I have started increasing the volume on every song i input, because the game's sound effects are just louder than almost all songs input at 100%, it's just the way the game was programmed, i'm sure they had a specific volume to set all of their tracks at when they made the official game and all, so all we need to do is increase the %age. On one of my songs i need to set it at 250% but that was something i recorded with a microphone...

and yes, just use 0 and 1 for the mp3's

Yeah...I bump all my songs to 150% even before initial test burns.

I also have to turn crowd noise down because damn when you use star power on a custom song you can hardly hear anything other than cheering!
