with a FC? watch Echelars video and follow his SP strategy and you'll get higher. |

Here's my strategy:

Funny thing about this one is I don't think I would have come up with it without AmberTheFire's fake high score driving me to look harder. It took me a long time to see it, so it's probably my favorite strategy, even though it doesn't seem that tricky now when I look at it.
I gave up some hold points (maybe more than necessary) by rushing the last note of the second-to-last activation. Also, I haven't experimented too much with the last activation to see if there's another note available. |

Interesting path. Now that I look at that 2nd-to-last activation, wouldn't it be better to shift it one beat earlier? You'd lose two notes (one from the 1-beat chord hold, and the R note afterwards), but you'd gain 3 notes in the beginning. If I'm right you should be able to get 200 more plus whatever hold points you missed.
EDIT: nevermind, that last measure has 6 beats, so yours does seem better. _________________

I would do it, but it took me long enough to get all those damn squeezes, so I'm pretty sick of this song |

I am commenting on JC's suggestion about the 2nd to last activation....why would it matter if the last measure had 6 beats? Star Power length is determined by measure is it not?....If that's the case, then activating star power a beat earlier would help....right? I mean we're just talking about a couple hundred points here but.... _________________

The strategy that I drew up looks exactly like your's, Echelar. The only problem is that I can't get the 2nd activation (I think it's the 2nd one) off in time. I can FC this pretty frequently, but I can never get that activation right. Do you tilt for SP on that activation or do you hit the select button? _________________

there's a better/easier SP path that doesn't involve any IMMEDIATE activations, i'll try to make a vid but i dont have my GH1 disc at my apartment |
