Can login to the forums, can't login to the website.

I recently got my account (MansionManiac) reactivated with a new password, I tried using it on the login page of the main site, but it told me it was an invalid login, but when trying to register, it says it's in the user database.

It logged in perfectly fine when I tried to login to the forums, so I figure since I'm logged into the forums, I'm probably logged in to the rest of the site. I'm not. I tried logging in the main site again since I was logged into the forums, but it still told me it was an invalid login.

At my friend's house, I'm not allowed to be logged into both the main site and the forum. Just log out of the main site to get through to the forum and you should be ok.

I'm in the forums just fine, it's the main site I can't login to.

Oh. ...Try logging out of the forums and log into the main page?

what's the screen that comes up when you try and log in? is it white with loads of black writing on it?

and try that too^

tried your old password? if all else fails you'll just have to create another account to put your scores on.

I am automaticaly logged in whenever i get on...i dont understand it but maybe you should try posting a message to JC

I'm having this same problem, too. I had my password reset and, though I can log in to the boards again, I still can't log into the main page. I show up in the "Who's Online" section, though.

Yes, the problem is that the reset password routine only changes your password on the forums and not your main account.

I've updated your main account password to match your forum password, so it should work now.

I'll see what I can do to address the underlying cause so this doesn't happen in the future.
