Disappearing Alerts

Whenever I go from the forum to the home page and back, all the alerts I have are gone. I realize that this may be because I'm switching sites, but when I go to the home page in a different link, and hit Refresh on the forum page, all my alerts go away.

This is kinda annoying, but it can wait to be fixed.

It's a result of the fact that there are two separate sessions for the forum and main account. However the home page processes the login for both accounts if your main session times out. So you can still have your forum session active and visit the homepage and it'll reset it if your main session has timed out.

The code for integrating the sessions was very complicated and took forever to figure out, so this will be a difficult issue to fix. But I'm aware of it and will see what I can do.

If it's that complicated don't worry about it. Like I said, it's inconvenient, but I guess it might be God's way of keeping my postwhoring to a certain limit.

What I always do is open up the forum in a different tab, then use the first one to browse the site so I don't loose the alerts.
