Any tips of fingering for the long string of G O YB G O YB parts? I hate it... I even tried H/O the G to O part but it didn't help. _________________

try doing green, then pushing down YBO to play orange, then let go of orange to play YB. i can't get the whole string of it (even though i've only played it once) |

I think ES has the right idea. That worked better for me. This song actually makes me angry. That G to O to BY lasts for what seems like an eternity. I was so pissed at it last night. |

I used the following fingering (and I really don't miss the g o yb even though I always think I'm going to)
strum G with 1
strum O with pinky (4)
strum YB with 23
It's not exactly a comfortable position to hold your hand in (as many have protested) but it seems to work pretty well! |

I do that part
G=1
O=23 (hold middle finger down on blue)
YB=12
works the best for me |

Its not particularly difficult to do, but its insane to hold for the bajillion measures that you have to. Its a shame, because the rest of the song is pretty fun. I'm gonna have to try the stretch method, as of now I've been dancing around the fretboard. |

the hard part for me is
G RY GR G RY GR
i get confused and the notes look weird to me. in my last run, i got extremely lucky and nailed the whole first solo. if only i could get all of those parts... |

I do that way.
This song is easy as hell, just so boring/repetitive that you WILL mess up. Its like a paradox, think ILRR but that you can never get a FC *evil music*.
After I got my 5*, I vowed to never play this again unless I had too in a tournament or something. _________________

My method on the G O YB is to use my index for g then hold fingers 3 and 4 on B and O while hitting the O. Then slide those two fingers down to Y and B and repeat as nessecary. |

I tend to have more trouble on the G RY GR riffs. I'm getting used to em' but I'm surprised people find the G O YB riffs hard. Maybe I have a big hand? ...?
(I also use 1, 4, 23 and I just keep my hand in position.) |

I find it easier to think of the G O YB part as O YB (pause) G. I would then play that as 4 23 1.
As for the G RY GR, I've also though of that as RY GR G and play it with 12 12 1 |
