This song sounds the the shiz-nit (in a good way), but I'm disappointed. I five starred this sightreading, but I only got a three star on Decontrol my first time. |

Here's what I do:
3 SPs, 1 SP, 2 SPs, 2 SPs.
If anyone does something different (2, 1, 1, 2, 2 maybe) I'd like to know. |

Is it possible to get enough star power during those RB chords at measures 59 and 60? |

Yes, but it is a bit tough. _________________

21122 is possible. That's what I do, now. |

That is my SP strategy when I can get the 2nd RB holds... I figure with my 96% average I could get around 265-270K with this path. I estimate 310K is a perfect.
Don't whammy the first three notes in the first SP phrase. Everything else must be whammied to full extent.. _________________

I hold the red.. and when a green comes up i slide down to the green and the back up to the red...
when the double greens comes.. i slide down to the green, and tap the red with my middle finger, and slide up to the red again.
(don't even know if this will help... ) |
Do you ever lift your index finger off the fret board? |

No, you shouldn't have to, it's basically your anchor finger. You can do AlCim's strat but if you're inconsistant at trills like I am, I just slide my index finger really fast R G R G R for that part, but make sure not to lift your index finger after that switches or you'll lose that combo. _________________

I'm actually getting fairly good at hitting most of the solo without anchoring my index on red. The orange stretch takes some finger dexterity, but it's by no means impossible. |
