custom songs

i read through the custom song making and it doesnt work. i dont know if the midi i have is wrong beause it uses all the instruments and also i cant make the .wav into a .vag and i dont know why. can someone like repost his thing and make it clearer and more detailed with maybe a guided pic? im sorry im a blonde though.

Did you just download a Midi version of the song you wanted? That's not what you need, you need a custom .mid file created by someone (from here, pretty much) for the purpose of telling Guitar Hero what notes to scroll.

yeah i just dl'd a midi from some website... i want the song master of puppets.... anyone got a custom midi for MoP?

I'd have to say the guide on how to make your own songs is pretty damn clear and easy to follow. I created my first one in about 3 hours (haven't tested it yet). Not a very tough one to follow.
