Custom GH2 song, unsigned band that I recorded

This is a band called Jazz to Moon Base 2. It's my cousins band, and me and my partner recored ther 4 track demo CD about 8 months ago. I"ve been working on this for a few days now and i think it's good enough to let some see it to get some feedback. it is by no means done as there is still sync problems and notation edits i want to make. When i am DONE i will host the midi and vgs file in one zip or rar for your injecting pleasures.

You can check them out on myspace www.myspace.com/jazztomoonbase2 If the mods don't mind me posting that link Mr. Green

As far as i know though, this is probalby a first, as it is an unsigned band.

Once i get the notes the way i want them, i'm gonna take the audio files back to my studio and re-mix it so that it has backing lead and rythm guitars. So far though i haven't seen any utilities to do a 6 channel GH2 vag to vgs convertion utility.

i am proud of this, please leave me some feedback

edit: updated youtube video

Hm. Nice job. Those are some pretty gnarly trills at the end.

Since you're askin for some criticism, it seems like the note chart at the 1:10 area should be going down the board, not up. But otherwise, it's pretty much perfect.

yes, thank you. I'm not the most musicaly oriented person, luckily my girlfriend is (she's got a bachelor's degree in music composition) so she's helping me a little with the notation. the end is VERY sloppy on my part, that's the part i really haven't put too much effort into yet.

working on getting those video links to work better, it seems the photobucket player drops out a channel during the begining of the lead break at 0:58 actually, i just listened to it again, and the photobucket video is in mono, so the rythm guitar is complety out of the 2nd half of the song because we mixed the guitars hard left and hard right

it seems like some of the chords during the soloish part should be single notes

but other than that it was a GREAT SUCCESS!!

Pretty good. Not something that I'd listen to myself... but it's a pretty good song, and gnarly fingerings! those GYO chords must be hard to play!

Even though JTMB2 is a great local band, in which I speak highly of, I think you should also look at the other bands around Danville, and the surrounding areas.

Specifically, From These Remains and Loud N' Clear...'Cause, I believe, Loud N' Clear would be a PERFECT guitar addition to any GH game...

For the record, which one's your cousin?=O

The front man, Jereme. I've seen all those bands you speak of, but i actually had access to the audio files since i recorded them, and hence that's why i made one for them.
