|
|
Amidst a lot of confusion about whether or not to call Hyperspeed a cheat or not, Hyper Speed was not being tracked in your scores on www.guitarhero.com
Well, guess what. It is now.
Your stats will be fully tracked by guitarhero.com now whether you are using hooperspedz or not.
And we also no longer consider hyper-speed a cheat, but more of a preference on how you play the game.
Enjoy and keep on rocking in teh free world. _________________

Fantastic, hopefully an official stance will curb the hyperspeed debate a bit.
E: Thinking about it a bit more, though, you have to wonder what tracking hyperspeed usage will lead to. I don't know that I see the wisdom in putting an asterisk next to certain users' scores like that (smacks a little of Barry Bonds' "record"), but time will tell, I suppose. Mostly, I'm just glad to see that Neversoft has voiced that HS isn't considered a "cheat" in their eyes. _________________

1) You're using numbers in place of words.
2) You're spelling at the second grade level.
3) You're posting in CAPS.
4) This post is in the wrong place, and should have been in Software.
Conclusion: Custom songs are not your "cup of tea", and I'd suggest undertaking a much more simpler hobby. Perhaps tree watching. |

I disagree with this 100%. But we don't have a say so no reason to comment further. _________________

Thats pretty cool, I guess then you wouldn't have to say that you use hyperspedz all the time, not like people do, but it's probably a nice add-on for people to see if you use it or not. _________________

Does this mean tournaments will automatically accept HS scores now (as the previous ones always had a note saying HS scores wont count) _________________

Yeah I used to care when people said HS is a cheat but now that Rock Band is out and I don't know if there is HS or not I am just used to reg. speed so now I never need to worry at all. I still sometimes use HS though.. _________________

Can we hyperspeed in tournaments now? I usually avoid them because to me, notecharts without hyperspeed are a big chunk of no fun. _________________

Good decision here. I prefer faster speeds to slower speeds and I don't think anyone should be penalized for that. |

I totally disagree with that, but while we're at it, I have spent over an hour in the past trying to find out how to post scores on that website....how do you do it? _________________
