A question for the high scorers on this one...
What SP are you using? I'm using the best one I can imagine based on the note sheet and I still came in only 8th place. Mine looks like this:
1) Activate at the first note following the opening chord-charge, which ends it right at the first note of the next star power during the chorus.
2) Active immediately after the next star power (SP#3, for a half charge) right on the green-green-green during the chorus, for five notes per measure.
3) After SP #4,#5,#6 (and whammied to full), wait for two measures and then activate on the yellow that is held for 1 and 3/4 measures, which will end it just in time for SP #7.
4) After SP #7 and #8 (and whammied for a little extra), wait for two measures and activate on the yellow-yellow hold, which will last for a little over five measures.
5) Charge with SP #9,#10,#11 (and whammied to full) and activate on the second held chord at the end, for eight measures' worth of the held chords.
This puts me about 1500 points shy of the top scores |

I just got 4th place, here's the path I used:
2 - Whammy the opening chord to about 3/4 bar, get all the way full with the 2nd phrase, and activate immediately.
2 - Whammy those yellow holds as much as possible, even though they're short, and activate immediately.
3 - Again, whammy all holds as much as possible, activate at the start of the next verse (measure 73).
2 - Don't whammy too much, and activate immediately. If done right, it'll run out right before the next SP phrase (long RY hold).
2 - Whammy as much as possible and you'll wind up with almost a full bar. Activate right before the long RY hold (measure 137). _________________

Astat posted the right base path. He just didn't execute very well, I guess. His activations can also be slightly tweaked. |

I'm also going to go with you're pretty damn good at finding squeezes where there shouldn't be any, but I won't hold it against you _________________

I have a notion on this one but further research is required
EDIT: I was wrong. _________________

I just moved up to 9th place with Astat's path. This was with very little squeezing, so there's room for improvement. Too bad I won't get close to Cdw's score. I'd really like 1st place. _________________

Haha, even if you had gotten first place Cdw would have found another squeeze to get himself back in first _________________
