What MIDI creator do you use to make the note charts for your songs?

I've been using Anvil but just started using MIDI Maestro because I can change the BPM at any point in the song, which is required for my current project. When I opened the MIDI in MIDI maestro though, it didn't look the same as it did in Anvil. The note chart was basically finished, I just had to change the BPM, but now there's a steady stream of one long note over top of my laid out notes, so it's impossible to see my notes underneath. Would this have happened because of the events I have set out in Anvil?

I am currently using Sonar 6 Producer Edition. I've had that sort of error occur when I open midis with Anvil, but they were not on the same pitch as my notes, so I just deleted them. This would a be a good question for Imacarrot, since he uses Midi Maestro for his midis.

Should there be any reason that the notes are off in the gh2?

I can now easily get all the songs working in GH2, but when they play the notes are off beat by a few seconds.

I'm using the new ghex3 import feature instead of doing the old vag > vgs conversion. Just wanted to make sure it's not something i'm doing, before I go and report a possible bug in ghex.

i know all the songs are on beat, cause they play perfectly through FoF.

mhm, i'm not sure i could help...
in fact, when it's time to add lighting effects, i simply add them, and do nothing else...
and 've never had any problem, they always worked...

and i don't think it's related to the order of the events, cause i put them in no particular order...

Then, I think GH2 doesn't like very much my work What program do you use to add events?

i use anvil, and since it doesn't let you add events, i edit them from a previously song...

Something I was wondering about as well, the notecharts I make in Freetar Editor end up being out of sync after a while(midway through the song) in MIDI format. I saved the MIDI with a 100 tempo.

I have not yet used the import function of ghex, but it is possible that it may add or take some white space from the song. It is easy to fix by shifting the notechart back or forth.

I have never converted a sng without it going out of synch. All it takes it some notechart shifting and it will clear up. There is no true freebie midi creator.

It doesn't. Not unless you tell it to.
Please read this for a quick guide on how the import offset works.
